Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography
Laboratories (ICAEL)

Echocardiographic
testing helps detect and manage many types of
heart disease. This noninvasive test has become
one of the standard diagnostic tools in cardiology
with an estimated 10 million echocardiograms performed
annually. Our echocardiography lab at COCVC was
one of the first thousand labs to be granted accreditation
by the ICAEL. We volunteered for the review process
conducted by an independent agency and earned
the accreditation in recognition of our commitment
to quality testing and patient care.

Laboratories (ICANL)

| Nuclear imaging
and medicine are also an important part of our practice
at COCVC. Our laboratory was reviewed on a voluntary
basis by an independent agency to assure that we
met the accreditation standards required by the
ICANL for nuclear cardiology and medicine. Our accreditation
status demonstrates our dedication to the quality
of care you receive in our facility and from our
staff. |
